Description
Surekha rice is nutritionally closer to brown rice because it is a parboiled rice. After being harvested, the grains get steamed in their husks to lock in nutrients and fiber. The process also hardens the grains, so they stay firm and separate. Surekha rice is one of the most popular rice variety in Kerala.
